There are two economic effects of a trip such as our round-the-world journey: (1) the value of one’s time drastically decreases and (2) the value of one’s money drastically increases. The results of these effects? We walk everywhere we go and we read. A lot.
Below are the lists of books we’ve read on the trip, divided into ones we’d recommend and ones we wouldn’t. (One caveat: a book is only included if we finished it, therefore all books in these lists were good enough to be read all the way through.) And just for fun we’ve thrown in the movies that we’ve seen on airplane rides as well because we do spend a lot of time in the air.

Just watched Up in the Air last night and I’m going to have to side with Kevin on this one; I thought it was great. I also agree with Kevin on The Blind Side, The Hangover, and Funny People (it was pretty funny, but too long and boring at parts). I liked I Love You Man however. The only other movie I’ve seen on your list Zhou is Monsters, Inc. which is, of course, very good.
Maybe I Love You Man is better suited for the big screen where you can get the full awesomeness of Paul Rudd, but for some reason I didn’t get anything out of that movie.
